So a friend of ours back from the shelter, told us about an article that was featured on the Huffington Post about 2 hours ago. And to our surprise, was a bittersweet experience when we got the chance to look at it. We were excited to see that they'd used one of our photos with the article, but saddened to see that it was of Olyvar and Oscar, the two pups that we'd first taken photos of upon starting our volunteer project with the Terre Haute Humane Society. We had first started taking pictures with them in November and we're now moving into March next week. Those guys have been there since May of 2014. The two pups are a father-son pair and are very much bonded. They are always within site of each other and even touch each other while sleeping to be sure the other one is still there. Being bonded together makes it difficult to find a home that will take in the two of them, but the shelter has been really looking hard to find that home for them. If you know anyone that's got a heart (and home) big enough for two new family members, please let them know that Oscar and Olyvar have been waiting for them at the Terre Haute Humane Society!
